Features and characters of the individual

The inhabitants of the Model City in Laeken planted a whole series of trees in the 1950s and 1960s. Like his neighbours, the other willows in the park, this individual is in dialogue with the buildings. Its magnificent crown, adorned with soft branches, which sway at the slightest breeze, brightens up the buildings of the city and its gardens. The texture of its bark and the shapes of its roots stand out from the geometric landscape of 1930s architecture.
