Features and characters of the individual

This hornbeam grows freely in a picturesque green space in the heart of Etterbeek. Between wild nature and controlled garden, and surrounded by a number of remarkable or rare trees, it occupies a distinctive position at the edge of a pond. It has witnessed the evolution of Parc Bosman, which saw buildings spring up all around it a few years ago.
